Meizu launched the Pro 6 smartphone in April this year with 3D Press glass display, 5.2-inch display and other top-end specifications. The next flagship from Meizu is coming soon in the Meizu MX series and the smartphone name will be the Meizu MX6. There were lots of predictions in the past about the Meizu MX6 launch, specifications and others. Now the company has officially started teasing the MX6 on their weibo account and on their official forum and has now released a new teaser that confirms that the Meizu MX6 will be launched in the official event on July 19 in China.
The Meizu MX6 has also made its appearance on AnTuTu database confirming some of its specifications. It is listed with a full-HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display which might be a 5.5-inch one. It is powered by the MTK Helio X20 MT6797 processor that comes with ARM Mali-T880 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity with expandable storage slot. It runs on the Flyme 5.2.2 OS out of the box.
It features a 12-megapixel LED flash rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. No other details about the device were listed in the AnTuTu database listing. Meizu MX6 is expected to support Dual SIM and will have the pressure-sensitive functionality display. It will support 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB etc features as well. There are also some rumors that the Meizu MX6 will also have a 3GB RAM variant that will cost less from the top-end MX6.
We have to wait for more leaks with TENAA and GFXBench listings for exact details and design of the device. Nothing from the above has been officially confirmed by the company, so take it with a pinch of salt. We will post on Times News if there will be any other details available about this device. Stay tuned.
