Lenovo has launched a special Wooden edition of the Vibe K4 Note in India. The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Wooden Edition packs the same specs but is different from the Vibe K4 Note that was launched in India in January this year in outlook. The device also come pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop like the K4 Note but the Vibe K4 Note was later upgraded.
The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Wooden Edition sports a great looking wooden clad back constructed from fine wood veneer but extra fortified with layer of flexible polycarbonate.
In the specifications package, the Vibe K4 Note is somewhat same with the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Wooden edition. Their difference ended in the wooden venner twerking. As a reminder, the specs include, a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080p display extra protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with ARM Mali T720 GPU firing up the phone.
The elegant smart phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI out-of-the-box but Lenovo has already rolled out an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Vibe K4 Note which it shares similar hardwares and softwares with. Lenovo started rolling out updates for the OS since June 2015. Other specifications include; a cool 13MP rear facing camera with dual-tone LED flash, a modest 5MP front-facing shooter, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM expandable up to a whooping 128GB, dual-SIM support, 4G connectivity and a host of others.
It is no surprise Lenovo claims to have sold over 750,000 units of the Vibe K4 Note in India alone given the awesome specs and features the phone tags along. The Lenovo Vibe K4 Wooden Edition is available exclusively from Amazon India (Amazon.in) at a price of Rs. 11,499 ($172) which is a little higher than the original Vibe K4 Note whose price seem to have reduced to Rs. 10,999 ($164.40) on the same site.
