Samsung has announced two new device sin the Galaxy J series called the Galaxy J5 Metal and Galaxy J7 Metal. Both of these devices are the Brazil variants for Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 smartphones. Both the devices are listed on official website here and here. The Galaxy J7 Metal is priced at 1,599 Brazilian Real (around $491) and the Galaxy J5 Metal is priced at 1,299 Brazilian Real (around $399). The Galaxy J5 Metal comes with a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It comes with a large 3100mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It measures 145.8 x 72.3 x 8.1mm and weights 159 grams. It comes with Black, Gold and White color options.
The Galaxy J7 Metal comes with similar features like the Galaxy J7 2016 like a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with 2GB RAM. It has 16GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box with Dual SIM support.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It comes with a 3300mAh battery and measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8mm with weight 170 grams. Connectivity options available are 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.
