Samsung is soon going to launch the successor to the Galaxy A8 smartphone that will be launched as Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) in the upcoming days. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) comes with the model number SM-A810 and will feature some of the upgraded features if compared it with the original Galaxy A8. The Galaxy A8 (2016) with model number SM-A810 has just made its appearance on the GFXBench database which confirms most of its specifications.
The GFXBench database lists the Galaxy A8 (2016) with a 5.1-inch Full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Samsung’s own octa-core 2.1GHz Samsung Exynos 7 Octa (4xCortex A53 + 4xCortex A57 – ARMv8 big.LITTLE) processor and ARM Mali-T760 MP8 (octa core) GPU. It features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity and will support MicroSD card expandable storage capacity as well.
The Galaxy A8 (2016) runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will support Dual-SIM. It features a 16-megapixel rear LED flash camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and other important features as well. There is no clue about its other specifications as the GFXBench listing doesn’t lists them, we may wait for its TENAA listing for more details and the images.
To recall, the original Galaxy A8 was launched last year with specifications like 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, Octa-Core Exynos 5430 (1.8GHz Quad Core + 1.3GHz Quad Core) processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, Android 5.1 (Lollipop), 16MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera, Fingerprint scanner, 3050mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity.
