Earlier, we spotted the upcoming Samsung clamshell flip phone Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 carrying the model number SM-G1600 on TENAA with images only, but today the device is listed with all the specifications as well. This clamshell device comes with mid-range specifications that we have discussed already with its listing on GFXBench. The Galaxy Folder 2 will be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Folder phone that was launched in Korea for around $253 as same pricing is expected for this phone as well.
The TENAA listing for the Galaxy Folder 2 with model number SM-G1600 comes with a 3.8-inch TFT display with 480 × 800 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU that was previously revealed by its GFXBench listing. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable storage MicroSD card slot. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It features an 8-megapixel rear LED flash camera along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well. It is backed up by a 1950mAh battery and the color option available is Golden only. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, WiFi and other options. It measures 122 × 60.2 × 15.5 (mm) and weights 155 grams.
The GFXBench listing of the device confirmed some of the specifications already. It lists the device with a 3.8-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It is powered by the 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and will also have microSD card expandable storage capacity up to 200GB. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
