Samsung is going to unveil its beast flagship Galaxy Note 7 today in a live “Unpacked” event in different countries simultaneously. The Galaxy Note 7 was recently spotted in leaked images showcasing the box of the device having the Galaxy Note 7 brand and some of the specs of the device. There was only 4GB mentioned on the box, so we may not see the 6GB variant in this event. Checkout the live streaming from the event below.
The device was also spotted at Zauba confirming a 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS and AF features. In a separate leak few days back, the Galaxy Note 7 was spotted in different HD renders features multiple color options for the device. Some prototype leaked images of the device confirmed the Iris scanner as well and the GeekBench listing revealed the specs of the device.
The Galaxy Note 7 was also spotted at AnTuTu with specifications like a qHD display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is having the model number SM-N930V. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage slot as well. It features a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
The previous leaks suggests that the Galaxy Note 7 will have a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved dual edge display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and will be powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 8 processor or the Snapdragon 820/821 SoC. It will have 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB internal storage that will be expandable with microSD card. It will run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and will support Hybrid Dual SIM.
It is rumored to have a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, dual-pixel PDAF and Smart OIS with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There will be a 3600mAh battery with fast charging feature and connectivity options may be 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC and USB Type-C. The device will also feature Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner, Barometer, S Pen stylus and will be IP68 certified with water and dust resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Unpacked 2016 event is going to take place in New York at 11:00 a.m. EST today and there will be two other simultaneous events in Rio De Janeiro and London.
