Samsung Galaxy Note7 launched with Iris scanner, 4GB RAM and 3500mAh battery

Samsung has finally launched its new Note flagship called the Samsung Galaxy Note7 that comes with advanced features that includes Iris scanner, a decent battery, large display, good amount of RAM, fingerprint scanner and many other features as well. The Galaxy Note7 will be available for pre-orders starting tomorrow and will be available for sale starting August 19 in the United States.

All the major carriers in the US like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless will sell it. The pricing details will be available tomorrow. The UK Samsung website also lists the Galaxy Note7 and is available for pre-order on the UK website as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 comes with a 3D glass and metal unibody design with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance just like the Galaxy S7 devices. The Galaxy Note7 comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved dual edge display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad), 64 bit, 14 nm processor / Snapdragon 820 chipset (region based).

As we already confirmed from the leaked box of the Galaxy Note7 that it will not have 6GB of RAM, it comes with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and supports Hybrid Dual SIM. It features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, dual-pixel PDAF, Smart OIS, f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture.

It is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging and wired and wireless charging support. It comes with 4G LTE Cat.12, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, USB Type-C and also comes with S Pen stylus, Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner, Barometer. It measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm and weights 169g. Color options includes Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx.
