"Made In India" Redmi 2 Prime Launched For Rs 6,999 In India

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime was recently found listed on Amazon India website which was removed there after and now Xiaomi has launched Redmi 2 Prime in India for Rs 6,999. It is the Xiaomi’s first smartphone manufactured in India or we can call it “Made in India” smartphone. It will be available in India via Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Mi.com/in flash sales.

The phone is listed on the above mentioned eCommerce sites in India and Xiaomi also posted the news officially here. It is available in White and Dark Grey color variants. Redmi 2 Prime comes with excellent features at this budgeted price.

The features includes Sharp AUO 4.7 inch IPS fully laminated HD IPS display which is protected by AGC Dragontail Glass with 1280×720 pixel resolution and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Quad Core Processor alongside Adreno 306 GPU. It runs on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Redmi 2 Prime is available in 16GB inbuilt storage with 2 GB of RAM and upto 32 GB expandable storage slot. It features a 8 MP rear flash camera with BSI Sensor and Auto Focus and a 2 MP front camera. It has a Li-Ion Polymer 2200 mAh battery that Xiaomi claims has 10% more capacity compared to Redmi 1S and it also comes with Quick Charge 1.0 feature which speeds up charging by 20%.

Dual-SIM Redmi 2 Prime comes with connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3G, GPRS/EDGE and FM Radio support. It weights 133gms and is thinner at 9.4mm. It features rounded corners and a textured back for good grip.
