AmanLeEco and Coolpad has now announced that it will launch the Cool1 smartphone on August 16 in China that was confirmed recently. A new teaser image on the weibo account confirms the launch date of the Cool1 smartphone that will be launched with dual rear cameras. LeEco has recently acquired 11% stake of Coolpad and become the largest shareholder of the Coolpad with 28.9% stake. LeEco has also announced that the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jia Yueting of LeEco is now the Chairman of Coolpad.
The Cool1 smartphone has already got the TENAA approval few days back showing off its design and specifications. The Cool 1 smartphone will feature dual rear cameras and a fingerprint scanner will also be available on the rear side of the device. It will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with MicroSD card expandable storage slot as well. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI OS and CoolUI on top.
The Cool 1 smartphone will really be a cool smartphone as it will have a 3500mAh non-removable battery for a better battery backup with a phone having QHD display. The device will support 4G LTE, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, WiFi and other standard connectivity options as well. It will also feature a 3.5 mm jack with USB Type C port that can be used as an audio port. We have to wait now for the official unveiling of the device on August 16 where we will also get the details on its pricing.
