It is just few weeks to the official launch date of the LG V20 which the Korean phone maker is billed to release on September 6th, but this has not stopped fresh leaks from surfacing online about the expected flagship device. First we brought you the leaked specs of the smartphone and now images said to be those of the LG V20 has surfaced online.
The leaked image renders of the LG flagship launching next month were outed by popular French tipster @OnLeaks.
The image renders displays clear shots of the device with the design clearly detailed. The images shows the volume buttons are present on the left side of the phone but there is no power button. This could be an indication that the power button will likely be with the fingerprint sensor which is conspicuously present at the back.
The display also features a secondary display just like on the V10, which is thicker. Also, we could grab from the render that there’ll be a USB port, Loudspeaker grills, primary microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack, all on the bottom of the device. On the rear of the phone, apart from the fingerprint sensor, the device is also shown to sport a wide camera hump which almost extends from one edge to the other, which could be that the LG V20 will feature dual cameras at the rear. The LED flash is also visible at the sides of the cameras, perhaps dual-tone LED flash.
Earlier leaked details suggest that the LG V20 will retain the same 5.7-inch QHD display which the V10 featured and the flagship will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, different from the Snapdragon 808 processor the V10 carried. In addition, the LG V20 will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and is said to sport an epic 21MP rear camera sensor with LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera for selfies.
LG has already confirmed the V20 will boot Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box which would make the flagship the first non-Nexus smartphone that would run on Google’s latest operating system.
The LG V20 is billed to be announced in San Francisco, US on September 6th and already LG has sent out invitations to the event.
