Galaxy On7 2016 (SM-G6100) and Galaxy On5 2016 (SM-G5700) TENAA approved, here are the images and specs

In the past, Samsung was spotted working on the 2016 variants of the Galaxy On series devices Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. These upcoming Galaxy On series devices Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 and Galaxy On5 2016 has just got the TENAA approval in China with some of the upgrades over its predecessors. The Galaxy On5 2016 is listed with model number SM-G5700 while the Galaxy On7 2016 is listed with model number SM-G6100 and comes with specifications and images of both the devices. Let’s check them out.

The Galaxy On5 (2016) with model number SM-G5700 is listed on TENAA with features such as a 5-inch HD TFT display with 720 × 1280 pixel resolution and are powered by the 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity and supports up to 128GB MicroSD card expandable storage capacity. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and supports Dual SIMs.

It features a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 2600mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth, USB, GPS and WiFi. The device also supports FM Radio. It measures 142.8 × 69.6 × 8.1 mm and weights 142 grams. It comes with a number of color options that includes Gold, Pink Gold, Black and Metallic Gold. The home button on the front panel may also comes with a fingerprint scanner as well. It was also listed on GeekBench with some of the above specifications.

The Galaxy On7 (2016) with model number SM-G6100 is listed at TENAA with features like a 5.5-inch TFT Full-HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by the 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. It has again 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with support of up to 128GB expandable storage capacity. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM as well.

It features the same 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a good 3300mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, USB, GPS and WiFi with FM Radio as well. It measures 151.5 × 74.9 × 8.0 mm and weights 166.7 grams. There will also be a fingerprint scanner on the home button just like the On5 2016. It comes with Golden color option only. The Galaxy On7 (2016) was spotted previously at GFXBench with some of the above specifications listed.
