Meizu M3E official with Helio P10 SoC, 3GB RAM and 3,100mAh battery

In an official event in China today, Meizu has launched its new Meizu M3E smartphone tat was previously rumored to be launched as Meizu E and Meizu M1E. The Meizu M3E comes with advanced features and is priced at 1299 Yuan (around $195) and the pre-orders for the device have started on official website already. It will be available for sale starting from August 14th in China. The global availability details of the device were not disclosed by the company in the event. The Meizu M3E comes with a Aluminum unibody design with 2.5D glass display. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor that comes with the Mali-T860 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity and the support of MicroSD card expandable storage slot with up to 128GB storage. It runs on the Flyme 5.2.1 UI that is based on YunOS 5.1.1. It supports Hybrid dual-SIM cards.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF . With the help of PDAF, device can focus in just 0.2 seconds. It also features a 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and FotoNation 2. It is backed up by a 3,100mAh non-removable battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz & 5GHz) and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 153.6 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 172 grams. Color options includes Silver, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue.

The Meizu M3E also comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the physical home button on front panel. It looks similar to the Meizu MX6 that was recently launched in China. It is reportedly the second smartphone from Meizu running the YunOS as Meizu M3 is already using it since its launch. As its launched with YunOS OS, it may not be available outside China. We have to wait for the official confirmation as well.
