Google has started rolling out new Android 4.4.2 update on its devices such as Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 phablets. Recently Google has announced New Android 4.4.1 Update for Nexus 5 and rolled that update. Now its a bit of surprise to roll out another Android update on nexus phablets.
It is a minor update to Android 4.4 OS accessible via OTA. The users, other than Nexus 5 users, will skip the Android 4.4.1 update and will jump to the new KitKat 4.4.2 update.
The new update includes some bug fixes like clearing and delivering the VM Indicator, security fixes and enhancements. Users of Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 are already reporting the new Kitkat 4.4.2 update and will roll out for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 as well.
Some Users may have to wait as the update is expected to cover all the phones in approximately 15-30 days. So just check you nexus phone now via Wifi connection if there is any update available or not.
