ZTE’s Nubia division has announced today that it will launch a new smartphone on 31st August at IFA 2016 event in Berlin. The company, however, hasn’t posted any details about the device. The company has shared some teasers on Twitter and Facebook accounts that features their global brand ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo in one teaser and the company has also launched a teaser page on their official website for this smartphone launch. The teaser reads ‘Dream Without Boundaries’ that hints towards a bezel-less device and further it comes with the launch event date at IFA 2016.
The company has already launched their flagship series devices in China in the Nubia Z series and are known as Nubia Z11, Nubia Z11 Max, and Nubia Z11 Mini. The Nubia Z11 was launched with Bezel-less display and other top-end specs like a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D border-less display, 64-bit quad-core 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 14nm processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB / 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal storage and expandable up to 200GB with microSD card slot, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with nubia UI 4.0, Dual SIM, a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, an 8-megapixel camera with 5P lens and a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature.
Its still unclear if the company will launch a new Nubia Z11 series device in this event or some other device with other name. We might see a SD821 powered device at this event in the Z11 series or may be a new series of Nubia devices. We are just couple of weeks away from the company’s official IFA event which is scheduled for Wednesday, 31 August, 2016 and will start at 16:00 CEST. The company’s co-founder Felix Fu will be hosting the event and will unveil this mystery device at IFA.
