Huawei has started sending the invites for its IFA 2016 event at Berlin on September 1st where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone with its Nova brand. Huawei Mobile have posted a new teaser on their Twitter account that reads “Defy Expectations” and the launch event date for the event. Sources says that this new Nova smartphone will be the successor to the Honor 8 with upgraded specifications and new improved design.
The new Nova smartphone will be a phone designed for woman according to the sources but there is nothing mentioned about Nova device on the official teaser. However, the bottom part of the teaser gives us a hint on the design of this device. The device will be unveiled at 10:30 am (CEST) in Berlin. There not much information available about this device about its specifications which may be outed soon in the upcoming days with its new leaks.

Huawei may launch the Huawei Mate S2 device that was spotted listed at TENAA without its specifications listed. The listing comes with the images of the device that shows a similar design just like the Nexus 6P on the rear side. There are not much details available about this new device but we have to wait for the official event for more details about the launch of the Nova device.
Few days back, Huawei launched its flagship device Mate 8 in the United States. The Mate 8 comes with Huawei’s own processor and other top-end specifications like a 5.2-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 96% NTSC color gamut and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the octa-core Kirin 950 (2.3GHz 4 x A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x A53) 16nm processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU.
It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB inbuilt storage options whereas it was also available with 3GB RAM option in China. It also comes with microSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top. It features a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, f/2.2 aperture, 6P lens and 1.4um pixel size.
There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture available for selfies. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging enabled. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm and weights 153g. The Honor 8 also comes with a metal frame with glass back and features a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It also comes with a Infrared sensor.
