Xiaomi today launched its new Redmi series device Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in an official event in China that is priced at just $135. A new mystery device has just been spotted at GeekBench database that shows a device with mid-range specifications. The exact name of the device is still unknown but is code-named Xiaomi Mido according to the listing. The listing, however, lists some of the device specifications.
The GeekBench listing lists this device with a 2.02 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (msm8953) processor with 2GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It scored 842 points in the single-core test and 3608 points in the multi-core test. No other details about this device are currently available in the GeekBench listing, so we may have to wait for its other listings for more details.
Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 today in an event that comes with the two storage options with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage variant which is priced at CNY 899 and a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant priced at CNY 1,199. It will be available for sale in China from August 26 and will be available from Mi store online.
The Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes with 16GB / 64GB inbuilt storage and 2GB / 3GB RAM with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on the MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with hybrid Dual-SIM option.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. It comes with large 4100mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB and Glonass. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It comes with Gold, Grey and Silver colour options.
