Moto Z Play launching on September 6 in China with Camera Mod & Adventure Mod, more images leaked

Lenovo Mobile Business Group co-President, Chen Xudong is already teasing on weibo that Motorola will launch the flagships Moto Z and Moto Z Force on September 6th in China but there were no details available if the company will launch the Moto Z Play on September 6th or not. But finally, there is some good news for the Motorola Moto Z Play fans as the Lenovo owned company is going to launch the Moto Z Play on September 6th in China.

A leaked image from a local retail store in China confirms that the Moto Z Play will be launched along with two Moto Mods Camera Mod & Adventure Mod. The Moto Z Play is going to be priced around 3299 Yuan (around $495) in China if we believe the recent rumors on weibo.

The camera app is looking good and it will be the same used in Moto Z and Z Force. The leaked images also shows that it will not be having the dual front speakers which will be available in the Moto E3 power and Moto E3. So the entire Moto Z series is going to miss these speakers.

These newly leaked images also confirms that the new Moto Z Play will have a 3.5mm audio jack and will have the same square shape home button with fingerprint scanner just like the Moto Z and Moto G4 phones. The leaked images also shows us the front, back and bottom panels with the Moto Mods connector magnets as well.

The Moto Z Play was also seen at TENAA revealing all the key specs and was listed with model number XT1635-03. It comes with a 5.49-inch OLED Full-HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor that might be the Snapdragon 625 Soc spotted at AnTuTu. It has 3GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage as well. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

It features a 16-megapixel rear LED flash camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well. It is backed up by a 3300mAh or a 3510mAh battery according to the listing. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, USB, FM Radio and Gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensors.

It measures 156.4 × 76.4 × 6.99 mm and weights 165 g. Color options includes Black and White. The device also comes wiit Moto mods magnets and a fingerprint scanner just like Moto Z and Moto Z Force.
