Meizu’s upcoming smartphone Meizu M3 Max is going to launch today and we have seen the phone was leaked previously in some of the alleged leaked images. Now, the device has been spotted listed at GeekBench with some of the specs listed. The official teaser posted by the company on their weibo account also confirms that this device will have a long lasting battery which is rumored to be around 5000 mAh if we believe the recent rumors from China.
The GeekBench listing shows that the Meizu M3 Max will have 3GB of RAM and will be powered by a 1GHz octa-core Mediatek P10 MT6755M processor. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. No other specifications details are listed in the GeekBench listing of the device. It has scored 785 points in the single-core test and 3041 points in the multi-core test.
The Meizu M3 Max is rumored previously to launch with a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button on front panel, the rear camera will have a dual-LED flash and the device will feature 32 GB inbuilt storage capacity and 4GB of RAM, but the Geekbench lists it with 3GB of RAM that hints that either it will have 2 variants with 3GB and 4GB RAM or it will have just 3GB RAM option. We have to wait for the confirmation today though.
Other rumors says that it will have a mPen just like the Samsung’s S-Pen for Note series devices. It will run on the Flyme UI that may be based on the Android Lollipop again which was used for the Meizu M3 Note by the company. The M3 Max is rumored to be priced at 1799 Yuan (around $269) and there will also be a 64GB variant that will cost 1999 Yuan (around $299).
