Meizu has today released the Meizu M3 Max phablet just as it said it would do. The Meizu M3 Max pitches Meizu on the growing list of smartphone makers with 6-inches plus display size phablets to their names. This is coming on the heels of the device appearing on Geekbench not too long ago.
The Meizu M3 Max comes with an all-metal body design with dual CNC processing. The phone boasts of a beautiful design and added to that, there ae four attractive colors to choose from, The four colors include, Champagne Gold, Gray, Silver and Rose Gold colors. The device sports a 6-inch IPS LCD display with 1080pixel resolution. In terms of dimension, the entire device measures 163.4 x 81.6 x 7.94mm.
The Meizu M3 Max comes powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Helio P10 processor, backed by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage which can expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card. The device also features a fingerprint sensor, located on the front, which aside unlocking the device, also supports Fingerprint payment in China.
On the camera, the Meizu M3 Max launches with a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with dual LED flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. the device laso features a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The M3 Max has all its ports located at the bottom of the device, including the USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and speakers.
In addition, the Meizu M3 Max cram a 4100mAh battery with 24W mCharge fast charging technology under its hood. The fast charge technology is touted to charge the phone up to 45% in half an hour, which is pretty good considering the size of the battery on board. Connectivity options available on the phablet include; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, infrared etc. Fingerprint payment is also supported (Alipay and WeChat).
As for the price, the Meizu M3 Max is priced at 1699 Yuan ($255). The phone will go on sale from September 15 and already reservations for the sale have already commenced.
