LG has finally launched its new flagship device in the LG V series called LG V20 in an event in San Francisco that comes with exciting new features and an amazing look. This smartphone comes with dual display on front with a 2.1-inch small secondary display. A the company promised, it runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS out of the box. It will be available in Titan, Silver and Pink color options and will be available starting this month in Korea. No pricing details are currently available and there are no details about its global availability available.
The LG V20 comes with a AL6013 metal lightweight aluminum body and also comes with Silicone Polycarbonate on all side of this phone to prevent damages occurred and prevent any damage due to a fall of up to 1.2 meters as well. It also comes with advanced audio and video recording features like it comes with 32-bit Hi-Fi ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC for clear sound by minimizing distortion and Hi-Fi Video Recording with Low Cut Filter (LCF) that helps removing unwanted background noise from the video.
The LG V20 comes with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD IPS Quantum display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and a secondary 2.1-inch IPS Quantum Display with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card. It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS out of the box.
It comes with a dual rear camera with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel lenses with 16MP camera having OIS 2.0, F1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED Flash, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, 75-degree lens and 4K video recording features and 8MP secondary camera having f/2.4 aperture and 135-degree lens. There is also a front facing 5-megapixel camera available with features such as f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens.
It is backed up by a 3200mAh removable battery with quick charge 3.0 feature and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. Other enhancements includes ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC, B&O audio and High AOP Mic. It measures 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm and weights 173 grams. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the rear side of the phone.
