The Samsung’s new Galaxy J series smartphone Galaxy J7 Prime, that was launched in Vietnam few days back, is now available for sale in India also. The device was spotted listed at official Samsung Vietnam website with full specifications and images of the device. Now, the Indian Samsung website also lists the device but without the full details of the device like its specs and images. The device comes with the model number SM-G610F/DD.
A Mumbai based Indian retailer Mahesh Telecom has confirmed that the Galaxy J7 Prime is now available for sale in India priced at Rs. 18790 (around $283) and he also posted some images from the retail box of the phone on his Twitter handler confirming the launch.
It was priced at VND 6,290,000 (around $280) in Vietnam and having the similar price tag for Indian market as well. As we already know, the Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD TFT display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, it comes with the Samsung’s owned 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and comes with Dual-SIM support.
The camera specs includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. It has a 3300mAh battery backing up with good amount of power and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the physical home button at front panel. It measures 151.5 x 74.9 x 8.1mm.
