Samsung launches Galaxy A9 Pro in India priced at INR 32,490

Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 smartphone in December and Galaxy A9 Pro in March in China. The device was available in China only until now and was rumored to be a China only phone. But today, Samsung has launched the Galaxy A9 Pro outside China for Indian market priced at INR 32,490 (around $484). It will be available for purchase in India starting September 26th in Gold, Black and White color options.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was announced back in March with high-end specifications and a massive battery. The Galaxy A9 Pro comes with metal frame and glass back and has model number SM-A9100. It features a large 6-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and has 32GB internal storage that is expandable upto 256GB via microSD card.

It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Dual-SIM option. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera, OIS, f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. It comes with a bigger 5000mAh battery with fast charging feature and connectivity options includes4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+ and NFC. It measures 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.9mm and weights 210 grams. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the front home button.
