Lenovo has launched the India variant of the Lenovo ZUK Z2 as Lenovo Z2 Plus in India today which will be available starting September 26th in the country via Amazon India. The phone is priced at Rs. 17,999 (around $269) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant and Rs. 19,999 (around $299) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant. The interested customers can buy it exclusively from Amazon India starting from September 25th midnight.
Customers can also buy Chrono Case priced at Rs. 1299 and Stealth Case priced at Rs. 699 separately. The Lenovo Z2 Plus is the successor to the ZUK Z1 smartphone launched last year. It features a 5-inch full-HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
It comes with 3GB DDR4 RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variants. No external storage slot available in both variants. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and supports Dual-SIMs. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/ 2.2, 5P lens, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, CAF dual-mode focus, EIS and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 78.9-degree wide viewing angle.
It is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature that can charge the phone up to 80% in 1 hour. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB 2.0 Type-C. It measures 141.65×68.88×8.45mm and weights 149 grams. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the physical home button on front panel that can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds.
