Xiaomi is expected to launch the new flagship device Xiaomi Mi 5s in its September 27th event taking place in China. The Chinese company is expected to announce two variants in this event rumored as Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and recently the pricing details for both these were leaked. Now, a new device from the company having the model number 2016051 has just passed TENAA confirming the specifications of the device and having the device images as well.
The TENAA listing for the Xiaomi 2016051 shows that it has a 5-5-inch TFT full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2GHz deca-core processor much likely the MediaTek Helio X20 / X25 Soc. It supports 2GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI out of the box.
It features a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with full-HD video recording and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a large 4000mAh battery and we have also got some connectivity options like 4G LTE, Infrared, Bluetooth, USB, GPS and other connectivity options as well. It measures 151 × 76.3 × 8.54 mm and weights 176.54 grams.
It is listed with Gold and Silver color options. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the rear side of the phone. The device also comes with China mobile logo on its back that confirms it will be first launched with this carrier in China.
