Google Pixel and Pixel XL leaked by online retailers ahead of 4th October launch

Google is going to unveil the successors to the Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P on October 4. Both the device got leaked a number of times and now some online retailers has listed both the device on their websites ahead of official unveiling. The online listings has revealed almost everything about the two flagship Google phones made by HTC. Carphonewarehouse (Pixel, Pixel XL), Bell Canada and Telus have listed both these smartphones with full specifications and some listings also have images of both devices. According to the Carphonewarehouse listing, the Google pixel XL comes with a 5.5-inches QHD AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 2.15 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 821 CAT9-12 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 128GB internal storage with no microSD expandable storage support. It runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box as we saw in the previous leaks.

It features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.55um and Image stabilization with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. A 3450mAh battery with fast charging feature is available and connectivity options includes NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,  GPS, 3G, 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear side. It measures 154.7 x 75.7 x 8.6 mm and weights 168 grams.

The Google Pixel is listed with a 5-inch FHD AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 441ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by the same quad-core 64-bit 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 128GB internal storage with no MicroSD card expandable storage slot. It runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box.

It comes with a 2770mAh battery with fast charging and supports the NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,  GPS, 3G, 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port connectivity options. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear side as well. It measures 143.8 x 69.5 x 8.6 mm and 143 grams weight.
