The BlackBerry’s 3rd Android powered smartphone Blackberry DTEK60 is now available for pre-orders in Canada online. It is priced at CAD $699.99 on NCIX with release date listed as 10/11/2016. The DTEK60 was previously leaked via the official Blackberry website that leaked all the specifications of the device and later on, some images of the device were also got leaked that confirms a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
We already know that the Blackberry’s DTEK60 is manufactured by TCL ltd and the DTEK50 was also made by the same company. The Blackberry DTEK60 has also got the FCC approval few weeks back confirming the US launch coming soon. This high-end Blackberry device comes with good amount of RAM, storage and latest hardware. It will also have Blackberry’s own high tech security features as well.
The Blackberry DTEK60 was spotted listed with features such as a 5.5-inch quad-HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage and expandable storage up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box.
It will feature a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 4K Video recording and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture, 1.125um pixel size and 84-degree wide-angle lens. It will be backed up by a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature and we will have 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C connectivity options. It measures 153.9 x 75.4 x 7 mm and weights 165g. A fingerprint scanner will be available on the rear side.
