Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL officially launched, UK pricing inside, India pre-orders from 13th Oct at Rs. 57000

In an official event today, Google has finally unveiled the new Pixel lineup of phones manufactured by HTC and made by Google. The two phones are known as Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL and are now up for pre-orders in UK, US, Australia, Canada and Germany while the pre-orders for India will begin starting October 13th on Flipkart. Both the Pixel and Pixel XL comes with Quite Black, Very Silver and limited edition Really Blue color options.

The Google Pixel is priced at $649 and the 128GB variant is priced at $749. The Google Pixel XL 32GB variant is priced at $769 for 32GB internal storage variant and $869 for the 128GB variant. In the UK, Google Pixel is priced at £599 for 32GB variant and £699 for the 128GB variant. The Pixel XL is priced at £719 for the 32GB variant and £819 for the 128GB variant. In India, the Pixel pre-orders will start on October 13th with price starting at Rs. 57,000 via Flipkart.

The Google Pixel comes with a 5-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 1920x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 128GB internal storage options. It runs on the Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS out of the box and comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

It features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, 1.55um pixel, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LDAF and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. A 2,770mAh battery comes powering the device and connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac MIMO (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, 3 microphones and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 143.8 x 69.5 x 8.6mm and weights 143grams.
