Samsung has recently started teasing its upcoming phablet smartphone Galaxy C9 on their weibo account which is the newest member of the Samsung Galaxy C series. Now, the company has released a new teaser in which the company has confirmed that it will launch its new C series device Samsung Galaxy C9 on 21st of October in an official event in China. The Galaxy C9 has already got the approval from FCC and from TENAA in China confirming most of its specifications.
The new teaser posted by the company shows the rear panel with camera having an LED flash which is the similar device that got the TENAA approval followed by the launch event date October 21. The specifications of the Galaxy C9 were revealed by the TENAA listing that confirms that it will have a 6-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable MicroSD card storage capacity. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It features a 16-megapixel rear LED flash camera and a front facing 16-megapixel camera too. As we saw at FCC, it comes with a 4000mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and other standard options. It measures 162.9 × 80.7 × 6.9 mm and weights 185 grams. it is listed in Gold color option.
Samsung is also rumored to be working on another variant of the Galaxy C9 called Galaxy C9 Pro but no specifications details from the device are currently available. The company was also spotted teasing the Galaxy C9 Pro on their social media accounts and says, “Next level of antenna craftsmanship” and also confirms Rose Gold color option for the device. We may also see the launch of the Galaxy C9 Pro in the October 21st event. Stay tuned.
