Samsung has started teasing a new device launch for October 20 in India via their social media accounts. Samsung is teasing the new device to be full metal made which hints towards the Galaxy On7 2016 and Galaxy On5 2016 launched recently in China. Samsung launched a new Galaxy On series device called Galaxy On8 during the Big Billion days via Flipkart and this new device will be launched in the country at a perfect time as Indian festival Diwali is coming.
Flipkart has also launched a new dedicated webpage for the launch of this new Galaxy On series device. The Galaxy On7 2016 was launched in China with specifications such as 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with up to 256GB microSD card expandable storage.
Running the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box, it comes with Dual-SIM support and features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture with an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed up by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging and comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.2, GPS connectivity options and a fingerprint scanner on the home button. It measures 151.7 x 75 x 8mm and weighs 167grams.
The Galaxy On5 2016 comes with a 5-inch HD LCD display with 1280 ×720 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage with up to 256GB microSD card expandable storage. It comes with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and comes with Dual-SIM support as well.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. It has a 2600mAh battery and connectivity it supports are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.2, GPS and also has a fingerprint scanner on the home button.
