Huawei Mate 9 Pro now leaked in HD render with 5.9-inch Quad HD display, Price: $1300

Yesterday, Evan Blass shared the leaked HD render of the Huawei Mate 9 flat screen variant and today, he shared the leaked render of the curved screen variant of the device that comes with dual-curved edges on both sides and is known as Mate 9 Pro. The Mate 9 Pro will be the company’s high-end variant of the Mate 9 that will feature a 5.9-inch Quad HD dual-curved display just like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, while the standard variant will have a full-HD display.

Evan Blass also tweeted that the dual-curved edge Huawei Mate 9 Pro will be priced at whooping $1300 at the time of its launch. The company will launch the Huawei mate 9 Pro along with Huawei Mate 9 in its November 3rd event in Munich, Germany. The Mate 9 Pro will also have support for Google’s Daydream VR and will thus run out of the box on Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS. The rumored specifications of the high-end Huawei Mate 9 Pro includes 5.9-inch qHD display with 2.5D curved glass and 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution with 95% wide color gamut. It will be powered by the octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor.

Snap (no pun intended): Mate 9/Pro feature 4x optical zoom. But pricing on a spec’ed out Pro is enough to give you a heart attack: $1300.

It will feature 4GB /6GB of RAM along with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB inbuilt storage options and will run on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS with Emotion UI with Dual-SIM support as well. it might feature a 20-megapixel dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash and Laser AF with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also. There will be a 4000mAh battery and 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC connectivity options. A fingerprint scanner will be placed on rear side.

As for the pricing, the standard Huawei Mate 9 variant is rumored to be priced at 3399 yuan (around $510) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage option, 3899 yuan (around $585) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage and 4699 yuan (around $705) for the top-end 6GB RAM + 256GB internal storage option. The carrier variant of the device will be priced at 3199 yuan (around $480). The Mate 9 Pro will be priced at $1300 according to Evleaks as we discussed above.
