Huawei has a new smartphone today for the Chinese market called HUAWEI Mate 9 Pro that comes with upgraded features and more premium looks. It comes with an AMOLED curved display that differs it from the Huawei Mate 9 that was announced last month along with the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche design limited edition. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is priced at CNY 4,699 (around $686) for the 4GB RAM +64GB inbuilt storage variant and CNY 5,299 (around $774) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant.
The Huawei Mate 9 pro comes with Champagne Gold, Space Gray, Mocha Brown, Moonlight Silver, and Ceramic White colour options. It comes with a 5.5-inch QHD curved AMOLED display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and is powered by the 64bit 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor having the ARM Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. it has 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage options. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS based Emotion UI 5.0 out of the box and supports dual-SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera with 20-megapixel monochrome lens and 12-megapixel RGB sensor with Leica lenses, optical image stabilisation and dual-tone LED flash. A front facing 8-megapixel is also available for selfies. It is backed up by a large 4000mAh battery and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, USB Type-C port and NFC connectivity options. It measures 152x75x7.5mm and a fingerprint scanner is available on the rear side.
