So finally the wait is over for all Moto G fans in India. Motorola have started rolling the new Android 5.0 lollipop update in India for Moto G devices such as first generation Moto G, Moto G (XT1033) and Moto G (Gen 1).

Motorola have confirmed the same news by posting a changelog on their official website. This update comes with build number 220.21.16.en.03 which was posted by a user at XDA forum. The screenshots by the user shows the build number of the device.

This new update brings new features such as new Notifications UI, Performance updates, Smart Lock etc features. So if you haven’t received the notification then just do the following:
- Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
- Select “About phone”.
- Select “System updates”.
- Select “Yes, I’m in”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
- Your phone is now updated to 22.21.16
