Moto G 3rd Gen Launched Officially For Rs. 11,999 In India

Putting an end to all the rumours which cropped up daily since past few days, finally Moto G( third generation) has been launched. Most of us already what to expect from this new handset, but for those who missed it out, the device itself is now present for them.

This device has been launched with two variants. One which has 1 GB RAM and has 8 GB internal storage. While the other variant has 2 GB RAM and will have 16 GB internal storage.

Both of these variants carry a microSD card slot using which the consumers can expand the memory upto 32 GB. The various other specifications which the new handset comprises of are:

Moto G 3rd generation has 5 inch HD display with 720 p resolution and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new android phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC and has 1.4 GHz Quad core processor and Adreno 306 GPU inside.

As per the rumours, the device actually carries Android Lollipop 5.1.1 Operating system alongwith some other features such as Moto Display, Chop device and Quick Capture.

In terms of camera, this smartphone carries 13 MP rear camera, which is aided by a Dual LED dual tone flash.
It also has a 5 MP front shooter for selfies.

Battery: the new handset has been packed with 2470 mAh battery which is an increased battery power as compared to its predecessor which had 2070 mAh battery.

Motorola’s new handset is a dual sim phone and is going to support 4G sim as well. Another features present in this handset are LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dimensions of this new android phone are 142.1 X 72.4 X 11.6 mm. The thickness goes down towards the edges and there it measures 6.1 mm. Moto G 3rd generation weighs approximately 155 gms.

The most important specification about the hardware of Moto G 3rd generation is its IPx7 certification. This certification means that the new handset has the capability of its survival even after being submerged into 1 mm of water level for around 30 minutes.

The product is now official available and has been price tagged in U.K for £160 for its 1 GB /8 GB variant while in India the same has been priced at $187 and the 16 GB variant has been priced at $203.
