iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Launched With A9 Chip And 3D Ratina Display

Apple has finally launched the much awaited new iPhones called the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in the media event in San Francisco. It will be available for pre-order starting Saturday, 12 September and will be released on September 25. Both the new iPhones comes with Apple’s new A9 chip and M9 motion coprocessor and 3D touch retina display.

iPhone 6s comes with 4.7-inch LED-backlit Retina HD 3D Touch display with 1334×750 pixel resolution and is powered by a A9 chip processor with 64-bit architecture and Embedded M9 motion coprocessor. It features a 12-megapixel rear iSight Autofocus with Focus Pixels camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It will ruin on iOS 9 OS out of the box. The battery size is unknown but apple have confirmed that it can give up to 14 hours talk time on 3G.

iPhone 6s Plus comes with similar specifications like iPhone 6s except the large 5.5-inch LED-backlit Retina HD 3D Touch display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. Both phones uses the stronger glass and Series 7000 aluminum on display.

Apple has introduced new Rose Gold color option for new iPhones, therefore, total 4 colors will be available now for the customers including Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold. New iPhones will have 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants and will be available via major US carriers like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

In US, The iPhone 6s is priced at $199/$299/$399 for 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants on a two-year contract and iPhone 6s Plus is priced at $299/$399/$499 for 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants respectively on a two-year contract. Pre-orders will start on 12 September and will be available from 25 September including United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the United Kingdom, and 130 countries in total by the end of the year.

In India, it will be priced at $649 for the iPhone 6s 16GB, $749 for the iPhone 6s 64GB and 16GB iPhone 6s Plus, $849 for 128GB iPhone 6s and 64GB iPhone 6s Plus, and $949 for the 128GB iPhone 6s Plus.
