After the successful launch of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in 12 countries on September 25, where Apple set a new record of selling 13 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus units during the first three days of availability, the CUPERTINO giant is all set to launch new iPhone models in other countries and India as well.
Apple will start selling the new iPhones in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan staring October 9, Friday.
On October 10th, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be sold in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and on October 16th, these phones will be available in India, Malaysia and Turkey and it will be available in over 130 countries by the end of the year.
This time, Apple added China in the iPhones launch date countries helping them achieving record sales from new iPhone models. Apple posted,”“Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Customers’ feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can’t wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to customers in even more countries on October 9.”
Apple hasn’t posted any data from the iPhone upgrade program. In US, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are available in gold, silver, space gray and the new rose gold metallic finishes for $0 down with 24 monthly payments starting at $27 and $31 respectively, from Apple’s retail stores in the US, Apple.com, select carriers and Apple Authorized Resellers.
