In the Tech World event in China, Lenovo announced its first Tango-enabled smartphone Lenovo Phab 2 Pro in partnership with Google. The company also announced the Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus smartphones in the event. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro comes with full metal body and is priced at $499. The Lenovo Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus are priced at $199 and $299, respectively. All these three Phab series devices will be available in Champange Gold and Gunmetal Grey color options and will be available globally from September 2016.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD 2.5D Curved Glass display with 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD slot. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports hybrid Dual SIM.
It features three cameras on rear side that includes a 16MP camera with PDAF, a Depth Sensor camera for Tango and a Motion Tracking Sensor camera for Tango. It also comes with an 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size. It is powered by a 4050mAh battery with fast charging feature and comes with a fingerprint sensor available on the rear side. It comes with other features like DOLBY Atmos sound with 5.1 audio capture, Triple Array Microphones with Active Noise-Cancellation, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
