Huawei has announced a new device in China known as Huawei G9 Plus that comes with mid-range specifications and affordable price. It comes with multiple color options that includes Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colors. It is priced at 2399 yuan ($360 approx.) and is available for pre-orders on vMall in China. The device sales will start August 25th. The global availability details of this phone were not revealed by the company.
Let’s checkout the specifications of this device in brief. The Huawei G9 Plus comes with 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and under the hood it comes with the 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It also has 3GB of RAM which is enough for multitasking with Snapdragon processor. It has 16Gigs of internal storage available along with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB.
On the software front, we have the latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) that comes with Huawei EMUI 4.1 layer on top. There is a 16MP rear camera available with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, PDAF, Sony IMX298 sensor features and an 8MP front-facing camera is also available for the selfie lovers. This device comes with handy connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and USB OTG. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the back panel below camera for better security that most of the mid-range devices offers.
It also supports Dual-SIM capability. There is a large 3340mAh battery available to power this device having a 5.5-inch display. This device measures 151.8 x 75.7 x 7.3mm and weight 160 grams making it easier to fit into your hands without any drop. The fingerprint scanner available in this phone comes with outstanding capability of unlocking this phone in just 0.3 seconds, that’s very good for the mid-range of phones.
