Motorola, a Lenovo company, launched a number of new products this year including the Moto Z series device, Moto M, Moto G and Moto E devices. Motorola is now spotted working on a new device and the 2017 variant of the Moto X smartphone whose live images has been leaked on Chinese website weibo. The images shows that this device comes with a full metal unibody design and the camera module of this new device is similar to the Moto Z series of devices. The device looks similar to the Moto M device launched recently.
The leaked images shows a silver and grey colored smartphone and the device also has a “M” logo on the rear side. The rear camera comes with a dual LED flash and the antenna bands are now available on the edges of the phone. This new device comes with a physical home button on front panel that will have a fingerprint scanner as well. The power and volume buttons are available on the right side of the phone. No details from the specifications of the device are currently available in the leak.
The company recently launched the Moto M smartphone that comes with mid-range specifications. It features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by the 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM.
It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 3050mAh battery with Turbo charging and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options with 3.5mm audio jack and Dolby Atmos sound. It has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side and measures 151.35×75.35×7.85mm.
