Moto M announced in India priced at $237

Motorola has finally announced the new Moto M smartphone in the Indian market that was announced last month in China with an affordable price tag. The Moto M is priced at Rs. 15999 (around $238) in India will be available via Flipkart starting tonight. Flipkart is launching it with some launch time offers like flat Rs. 1000 off with Citi Bank credit cards, exchange offer with an additional Rs. 2000 off on the Moto M, Rs. 1000 off on Moto Pulse 2 Headset (priced at Rs. 499) with the Moto M and easy EMI starting at Rs. 776 per month.

The Moto M comes with Gold and Silver color options and it features a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor available on the back of the phone near rear camera. It comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by the 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM.

It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 3050mAh battery with Turbo charging and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options with 3.5mm audio jack and Dolby Atmos sound. It has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side and measures 151.35×75.35×7.85mm.

To compare, the Moto M was announced in China priced at 1999 yuan (around $294) and in India it comes with Rs. 15999 (around $238) price which looks more cheaper than the Chinese price tag. The company’s offers with the phone in India makes it more affordable for the Indian Moto fans.
