The HMD Global owned company Nokia today released two new feature phones for the global market with name Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM that will be available globally in selected markets including APAC, IMEA and Europe in Q1 2017 and followed by other markets. Both will be available priced at $26 in black and white color options. The dual SIM variant comes with dual SIMs capability and both comes with built in FM radio and MP3 player for complete all time entertainment. No Android based phones announced yet.
The Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 240×320 pixel resolution and comes with Nokia Series 30+ OS pre-installed. It supports up to 32GB expandable storage capacity with microSD card slot. It also comes with FM Radio and MP3 player and comes with the BL-5C 1020mAh battery that can deliver up to 31 days of Talk time & Standby time for Single SIM variant and up to 25 days for Dual SIM variant.
Both the device comes with VGA rear camera along with the LED flash. Both supports Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM, micro USB and 3.5mm AV connector connectivity options. It measures 118.0×50.2×13.5mm and weights 81.0 grams. The single SIM variant supports dual band 850/1900MHz bands while both variants also supports dual band 900/1800MHz bands. The device also comes with the Snake Xenzia game that was very popular with the old Nokia phones.
HMD Global is expected to launch Android devices at CES 2016 event next year where the company is expected to launch top-end Android devices including the Nokia D1C. Another high-end Nokia device with dual curved edges and all screen display was spotted in a leaked image few days back and we can expect it to be the upcoming Nokia Android flagship that will have top-end specifications. We have to wait for the company’s CES event and we can expect big surprises in the event. Stay tuned.
