Samsung was spotted working on the Galaxy A 2017 variant of all the Galaxy A series smartphones in the past and is expected to launch soon the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones. The Korean giant has started teasing the new Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones officially on their Twitter account. All the new Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones were spotted previously in various leaks but we are still awaiting the TENAA listings of these devices to have more details on the specifications and the design of the phones.
Samsung Malaysia has just teased the new Galaxy A 2017 on their Twitter account and the teaser image comes with some water droplets that confirms the water resistant feature for the new 2017 variants of these devices. The company tweeted, “It all begins with A. Hold your breath.” The company is expected to showcase the new Galaxy A series devices Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) in the CES 2017 event that is going to take place starting 5th of January in Las Vegas city.
According to the rumors the new Galaxy A series 2017 variant will feature IP68 rating which makes these phones water and dust resistant. Out of these three phones, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display and it will be powered by an Exynos 7880 processor that comes with Mali-T830 GPU and also comes with 3GB of RAM. It is expected to have 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage options and expandable storage via a microSD card slot. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Further, the Galaxy A7 2017 is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and auto-focus, face detection and touch focus features as well. A 16-megapixel camera is expected on the front panel of the device. It will be powered by a 3500mAh battery and is expected to launch with 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. A fingerprint scanner is also expected on the physical home button on front.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) is expected to come with a 5.2-inch display and will be powered by a 1.87GHz octa-core Exynos 7880 processor (four Cortex A72 cores + four Cortex A53 cores) with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage and an expandable MicroSD card storage slot as well. It is expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A 3300mAh battery is expected to be powring the device with fast charging support and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The smaller Galaxy A3 (2017) is expected to feature a 4.7-inch HD display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor with ARM Mali-T830 GPU. It will have 2GB of RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage with expandable storage upto 32GB via microSD card. It might feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 7-megapixel front facing camera. A 3,000mAh battery will power the device and connectivity options expected are 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
