Nokia is going to launch new Android powered smartphones in the MWC 2017 event and we are expecting a flagship device from the company at an affordable price. Many new devices from Nokia, owned by HMD Global, were spotted in benchmarks and leaks including the Nokia Pixel, Nokia D1C and many others. A new device from Nokia has now got the 3C (China Compulsory Certification) certification in China that comes with the code name TA-1000 and is expected to launch as Nokia E1. The 3C certification doesn’t have any specifications listed expect the TD-LTE connectivity.
The 3C listing of the device also confirms that it will have 5V/2A charging support which means fast charging won’t be available with this device as its a mid-range device from the company. As for the other specifications, the Nokia E1 is expected to launch with 4GB of RAM and is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 600 series of mobile processors. It is also rumored to have 64GB inbuilt storage capacity along with MicroSD card expandable storage. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and we can expect that we will see the stock Android without any Nokia UI.
The company was also spotted working on new Android powered device including the Nokia Pixel that was spotted listed at Geekbench running the Android 7.0.1 Nougat OS and comes powered by a 1.19 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8610) processor that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and has a Adreno 302 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and scored 404 points in the single-core test and 661 points in the multi-core test. No other details from the device specs are listed in the Geekbench listing.
Another Nokia device was leaked in an image that shows a Nokia device with a all-screen dual curved display. The device was having a fingerprint scanner below the display on the physical home button. Nokia is also working on a device called Nokia D1C, that was spotted with features such as a full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and will be powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It will have 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity. It will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box with stock Android. It will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera.
The Nokia D1C was also spotted at Geekbench and AnTuTu and Geekbench listing confirms that comes with a 1.40 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor that also comes with the Adreno 505 GPU and has 3GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and has scored 656 points in the single-core test and 3120 points in the multi-core test.
