AmanThe OnePlus flagships OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T has started getting the latest update that brings the Android 7.0 Nougat OS with OxygenOS 4.0 along with other changes to the devices. The confirmation of the update roll-out comes from the OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei via his official Twitter account. The update is rolling out to the device in phases and if you haven’t received the OTA update then you will get it soon or you can check it manually for the update from your device about section. There is no new available if the earlier models will get the latest update or not.

The new Oxygen 4.0 OS update brings new features including new notifications design, new settings menu design, multi-window view, notification direct reply, custom DPI support, added status bar icon options, quick launch for 3rd party applications and improved shelf customization. This OTA will be incremental and will reach a small percentage of users today and a broader rollout will begin in a few days as per the staff member of OnePlus forum.
If you have not got the OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check it on your device by navigating to settings, about device and update software section. The Company launched their latest smartphone OnePlus 3T with a full aluminium unibody design and features a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU and comes with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM again. It has 64GB and 128GB (UFS 2.0) inbuilt storage options and there is no support for expandable storage.
It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS based Oxygen OS and supports Dual nano SIMs. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, 1.12 micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, EIS 2.0, PDAF, OIS, 4K video recording and also features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, 1.0 micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 1080p video recording.
It is backed up by a 3400mAh battery with Dash Charge feature for fast charging. The OnePlus 3T comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MIMO) and USB Type-C connectivity options. It measures 152.7×74.7×7.35mm and weights 158g. The device features a bottom-facing speaker and dual microphone for noise cancellation. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the front panel on the home button.
