Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 in China in August last year and now the company has sent out the invites for the launch of the device in Indian market that is set for January 19th. The invite comes with “19 January, 2017 Mi Product launch, New Delhi India” that confirms the launch of the device in the official event of the company in New Delhi. There are no details about the pricing of the device in India but we can expect a price tag of around 11500 INR. It was launched priced at CNY 1,199 in China last year.
The Redmi Note 4 features a full metal body and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, it has the deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor that also comes with the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes with 16GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options and 2GB/3GB RAM options with microSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based MIUI 8. It also comes with Hybrid Dual-SIM support and features a fingerprint scanner on the back.
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture and it also has a 5-megapixel front camera. There is a large 4100mAh battery available with connectivity features like GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB. Color options includes Gold, Grey and Silver and it measures 151x76x8.35mm and weighs 175 grams. The indian users can visit Mi website for live streaming of the event on January 19th.
