We recently told you about the Motorola’s upcoming flagship devices in the Moto G series rumored as Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus out of which the Moto G5 Plus got leaked in images and some of the specs were also outed with the leak. An OLX user in Romania tried to sell the device via a local listing that comes with the images of the device and some of the specs were also listed in the listing. Now, Motorola has started sending the official invites for its MWC 2017 event scheduled for February 26th where the company is expected to launch the Moto G series flagships.
The official invites comes with a phone and the ‘Hello Moto’ tagline with the 26.02.2017 at 4:30pm launch date. The leaked specifications of the Moto G5 includes a model number XT1685 and features a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity with expandable MicroSD card storage.
The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 3080mAh battery and it comes with a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on the front panel. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. Recently, Nokia also confirmed their presence at the MWC 2017 event where the Finland based company will launch their flagship Nokia 8 smartphone with top-end flagship specifications including a Snapdragon 821 and Snapdragon 835 variants with 4GB and 6GB of RAM.
The Nokia 8 is expected to launch with a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB internal storage options with up to 256GB MicroSD card storage slot. It will no doubt run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It will feature a 24-megapixel rear camera with OIS and Super EIS enabled and a 12-megapixel front facing camera. The device comes with dual front facing speakers and an led notifications light as we can see in the above video. The battery might be a 3000+ mAh one.
