Oppo launches OPPO A57 in India with $221 price tag

Oppo today launched their newly launched smartphone in Indian market with name Oppo A57 that was launched in China last month with mid-range specifications. The device is priced at Rs. 14990 (around $221) in Indian market and will be available for sale from offline retail stores across the country and will also be available through online partners like Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal starting February 3rd.

The A57 brings consumers premium photography and advanced features, like the industry-leading fingerprint reader, that goes well beyond the conventional boundaries for this price segment.”  said Sky Li, OPPO VP and Managing Director of International Mobile Business.

The Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display having the 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and under the hood, the Oppo A57 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. The device runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) based ColorOS 3.0 UI and supports dual-SIMs. It has 3GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage  that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.

The Oppo A57 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF and LED Flash features along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel and 5P lens. It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options and we have a 2900mAh battery that is not removable. The device measures 149.1×72.9×7.65mm and weights 147g.
