Huawei has quietly released a new budget smartphone dubbed Y3 2017. The Huawei Y3 2017 is the second generation of Y3 series and comes as the successor to the Y3 II which was launched last year. The Y3 2017 is already listed on Huawei’s official website.
The Huawei Y3 2017 has a smoothly curved body which is available in gold, pink, blue, white, and grey colours. It sports a large 5-inch screen with 854 x 480 FWVGA display resolution. There is also a Mali-T720 GPU which gives a delightful experience for videos and games.
The configuration of the Huawei Y3 2017’s processors is quite introductory; it has two models which are the MediaTek MT6737 and MT6580. The MT6737 is an entry-level 4G chip with quad-core A53 architecture, GPU Mali-T720 and packs a 1.1 GHz processor while the MT6580 is also an entry-level, low-end 3G chip with quad-core Cortex-A7 architecture. Both versions are armed with 1GB RAM, as well as 8GB of inbuilt storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1 hovering on top.
The Huawei Y3 2017 is a dual SIM smartphone and it sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash with a 2MP selfie camera. Beauty mode, time-lapse and Panorama are other features of the camera which provide better photos with clear and sharp details. With a 2200mAh battery coupled with an Ultra Power Saving Mode which automatically gives a reminder on low battery, this device power life is certainly extended.

Well, the pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed but with its entry level chip, it is expected that the handset will be a low-budget smartphone at about 399 Yuan ($ 58).
