AmanFinally, the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S5 have been launched worldwide, including India, today. It is now available for sale on official Samsung website. Samsung Galaxy S5 is priced at Rs. 51,500 with 20% cashback offer buying with Citibank credit card (Offer valid till 13th April).
Samsung Galaxy S5 was also available on pre-orders previously by the company and now its listed for sale on different online retailers also. Galaxy S5 comes with no. of excellent features. The main feature it has is IP67 certificated dust and water resistant feature. It also has Ultra Power Saving Mode feature.
Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with 5.1 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a octo-core (1.9 GHz + 1.3 GHz + XMM6360 Adonis Prime2) processor. It runs on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. It has 16 GB inbuilt storage + 64 GB expandable storage capacity and 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 MP rear camera with Fast Auto Focus, Selective Focus, Phase Detection AF etc features and 2 MP front facing camera is also available.
It has 2800 mAh battery capacity with 21 hrs of talk time on 3G network. Lots of connectivity features are available such as GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WiFi, USB, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. No 4G connectivity is available on this phone. Its weight is only 145 gms.
Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in 2 color variants White and Black currently. The new Galaxy Gear range and Gear Fit band options are also available for the users with this smartphone. The Gear 2 is priced at Rs 21,900, while the Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are available for Rs 15,900. It also comes with Heart Rate Sensor and a Finger Scanner.
