AmanHTC has launched three new handsets today in the Indian market. Mr. Faisal Siddiqui (Country Head, HTC India), Mr. Chia-Lin Chang, President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Jack Yang (President, HTC South Asia) showed off these three new smartphones today at the global launch at New Delhi. These smartphones are HTC Desire 210, HTC One M8 and HTC Desire 816.
Out of these, HTC Desire 210 is a budgeted Dual SIM smartphone priced at Rs. 8,700 and it will be available nearly at the end of April. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and has a 4-inch WVGA display with 480×800 pixels resolution.
HTC Desire 210 is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor. It has 512MB of RAM and has 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. A 1300mAh battery powers this device. Connectivity options available are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.
HTC Desire 816 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor.
It has Android OS with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandable microSD card storage up to 128GB. It also has brand new HTC Sense 5.5 UI.
It has a 13 MP rear and a 5MP front facing cameras available. Battery capacity is 2600 mAh and connectivity options are 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
On the other hand, HTC One M8 comes with 5 inch IPS LCD full-HD display and is powered by 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core chipset processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB and 32GB optional storage. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
HTC M8 is priced at Rs 49,900 and will be available in India from May 7. It has 2600 mAh li-po battery with connectivity options like 4G, HTC Connect, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. It has an excellent feature of Duo HTC UltraPixel camera with HTC Image Chip 2 and 1080p Full HD video recording with HDR video. It also has a 5 MP front camera.
