HTC J Butterfly Launched In Japan By KDDI With Android Kitkat 4.4 And Snapdragon 801 Processor

Japanese company KDDI has launched the new HTC smartphone HTC J Butterfly in Japan that comes with features of HTC One M8 smartphone with some changes. KDDI hasn’t revealed any price information but has confirmed that it will be available at August end in Japan.

HTC J Butterfly is a clone of the HTC One E8. It is a waterproof smartphone that comes with latest Android 4.4 Kikat OS. It comes with 5-inch full HD display. It is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor much like One M8.

It has 2 GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage with up to 128 GB expandable storage. It comes with a 13 MP rear dual-LED flash camera like in HTC One E8 replacing 4 ultra-pixel HTC One M8 camera. It also has 5 MP front camera.

HTC J Butterfly will support 4G LTE networks. It will have a 2700mAh battery which replaces 2600 mAh in HTC One M8 and E8. Connectivity options available are Bluetooth. WIFi, 3G, GPS etc along with 4G LTE.

HTC J Butterfly will be available in Rouge, Canvas and Indigo color variants. It will not have the Dual Front Boom sound speakers instead it will have the JBL headset. Neither HTC nor KDDI revealed its availability worldwide. Stay tuned with SmartphonePoint for more updates.
